2025 was the first year of our club. In that time, we visited shows, entered some contests, had several new members join, and did a lot of building!
In February, Toy Town in Twin Falls, ID, hosted a modeling showcase and invited many of us to bring in kits we had built to share with each other and patrons. This event was the catalyst that helped form our club. Many of us believe we might be the only other model enthusiasts in the area, and we were delighted to learn there were others like us.
Over the year, several new people joined our club, adding their different interests and topics. Initially, our members mostly built cars and trucks, and military aircraft, ships, and vehicles. Now we have expanded into Sci-Fi and Fantasy, Gundam, Warhammer, miniatures, and dioramas.
In the fall of 2025, the Navy flying team, Blue Angels, came to the Twin Falls airshow. We decided to honor the Blue Angels by commissioning some of our members to build replicas of the aircraft the Blue Angels had flown over the years and display them at the Regional Airport. Our members built a Hellcat, the first airplane flown by the Blue Angels, an F-111, the first supersonic Navy aircraft, the iconic F-4 Phantom, and the nimble A-4 Skyhawk, along with other aircraft to display.
After the Blue Angels, we decided to add a few more aircraft at the Happy Landing restaurant at the airport. We added an F-15 C, T-38, F-5, F-104, Spitfire IIa, and P-51 D.

Our club members worked away on their stashes. Here are some new additions to their display cases.
