Welcome to the home of the Magic Valley Modelers, a region 7 – Northwest chapter of the International Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS). Located in Twin Falls in south-central Idaho, we serve all the Magic Valley region and surrounding areas from Ketchum/Stanley to Jackpot Nevada, and from Burley/Paul to Gooding.
Here at Magic Valley Modelers, we believe in camaraderie, mutual support, respect, and encouragement. Our members are a diverse group spanning all model genres and skill levels. We recognize that model building, as an art form, is a highly personal expression of self, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you can find something to like in the works of others, despite their different approach/method/skill, then welcome! We’re glad to have you!
The club meets twice per month, usually in the second and fourth weeks. Days, times, and places may vary slightly. Our first meeting is a club business meeting where we also have a show-and-tell and hold club contests. The second meeting is a “build-in” where members work on their current projects, have seminars and demonstrations, socialize, and generally have a great time.
